I’m always willing to give a restaurant a second chance, but in this particular case there diss interest in having us there was so pervasive, we would never go back and encourage you to look elsewhere as well. In leaving the restaurant it was interesting to see that the Nightshift patio was still almost empty. We went next-door, had a nice meal, were treated kindly and our baby never made a peep. Our brewery proudly joins the exciting movement of local businesses taking root all over Greater Boston. Through culinary inspiration & determined innovation, we aim to create memorable craft beers that offer a wide array of rich, complex flavors. We left feeling like our baby was going to be a distraction and they really didn’t want us there. Specialties: Night Shift Brewing was founded in 2012 by a trio of friends with a shared passion for nocturnal homebrewing. We left after telling the manager that we were very displeased with their poor performance. ![]() really, on a patio that was virtually deserted. We told them that we would prefer a table more out on the patio and we’re told we can’t guarantee any shade? There were four of us and eight week old, we were shown to a table without an umbrella on a hot sunny day! We asked that we be seated with an umbrella and they told us that none were available…. An unfiltered, unpasteurized, all natural, craft light lager. You deserve better than this sea of sameness, and Nite Lite is our way to raise the light beer standard. We had made a reservation for an outside table and when we went outside we were shown an alleyway as our option. Right now there's too much overlap - bland flavors, redundant branding, macro-brewery after macro-brewery. Thought we’d go there for a quick Father’s Day beer and a burger but never got to try either due to the poor performance of the hosting staff. Overall I liked the vibe of this place and if I was local, this is probably a place that would be a regular stop for me when in the mood for some brews. Our interactions with staff was good overall- to note out of any food/drink establishment we visited for this trip (We were on a two week vacation) this place actually seemed staffed adequately (not a dig on other places, staffing shortages is just the normal right now for most restaurants/bars). While the selections sounded tasty in the description, the food did seem overpriced. We didn't try the food, but they did have a small menu that you could grab something from. I thought the beer prices were on par with most breweries we have been too. My husband enjoyed the Maibock and the Doppelbock. ![]() I enjoyed the Darkling (barrel aged) and the Oatmeal Stout. We ended up getting a flight and then added a few other tasters on at the end. It was a nice day and they did have outside tables, but we ended up sitting at the bar as that is our preference. We had just finished the Freedom Trail and decided it would be nice to try out a brewery.
